Then in April 2015, they filmed in Vancouver, and during May and June 2015 they filmed in the University of British Columbia. UNIT 31.1: Zora Murff

Zora J Murff was born 1987. He is an MFA student in Studio Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Zora attended the university of Iowa where he studied Photography and holds a BS in Phycology from Iowa State University.

Purpose/Genre: The main purpose of this series is to document the examinations of youth experience in the system and how the concepts of privacy and control may affect their future.

The following images are taken from his series 'Corrections'

The image is of a small window on the door of a prison cell with someone on the other side. This persons face is not visible much like the other photos in this series. In terms of composition, this image shows the use of a frame within a frame and a rule of thirds going across the picture. The colours in this photo are very simple, only about 4 or 5 clear colours are here making it a very simple photo, this contributes to the narrative as for the life of someone who is in a correctional facilty, their life would be fairly basic living with not a lot going on. Murff has intentionally covered the face/identity of the person as this means they can represent anyone in the legal system and not just focus on one particular individual.
